School Year Social Skills Groups

These small, after school groups are activity-based and help students build community, friendships and self-esteem. Groups are led by our Master’s level facilitators at our main campus in Northeast Seattle and in satellite offices in Bellevue, Redmond and Portland. Through experiential activities and team-building games, students gain new skills in peer relationships, frustration tolerance, social norm recognition, self-esteem and flexibility/compromise.

Although not diagnosis-driven, our groups are structured for students with Asperger Syndrome, ADHD and other unique learning and social-interactive styles. Prospective families meet with staff prior to enrollment to ensure that the group fits each child’s needs.

Concurrent with our social skills groups, parents are invited to meet and discuss strategies and resources, thereby building community with other parents. Healthy snacks are provided courtesy of our partner, Whole Foods.

Please note that groups are not reimbursable by insurance.
