Individual Coaching
We emphasize coordination of care with a goal-driven approach to help improve behavior and well-being. We work in conjunction with the child’s existing therapists, doctors and teachers to establish a cohesive support system. Our coaches are Master’s level professionals in the fields of psychology, education counseling and social work. We meet with young people, ages 9-17, throughout Puget Sound and Portland in their homes, schools and at other places in the community. By meeting in real-world settings, we are able to provide guidance to the client to address specific goals in their social, academic and family lives. Our home-based meetings also ease transportation and logistical challenges for parents. In addition, the context of our meetings helps clients establish a comfortable rapport and sense of trust with our coaches, which is essential for progress and growth.

Our Areas of focus include:
- Home-behavior management
- School-behavior management/IEP support
- Development of social cognitive skills
- Improvement of organizational and time management skills
- Connection to resources and activities
- Interrupting computer compulsivity
- Strengthening self-esteem
- Improvement of family communication skills and flexible thinking
In conjunction with our services for children and adolescents, parents can also elect to work with one of our professionally trained parent coaches through office-based meeting or phone sessions. Our parent coaches provide support and guidance to help parents explore new strategies.
